Rick Hamilton
President, Henry Putter Company
Rick Hamilton's golf career began in 1979 after graduating from the San Diego Golf Academy, where he mastered every facet of the golf business, including the intricate art of club repair and customization.
Early Career (1979-1988)
Rick served as a PGA Golf Professional at Mission Bay Golf Course (1979-1983), Oahu Country Club in Hawaii (1983-1986), and Sierra LaVerne Country Club (1986-1988). During this time, he met with industry pioneers Karsten Solheim of Ping and Jim Flood of Odyssey Putters to discuss golf club design innovations.
Tour Representation & Design (1988-Present)
In 1988, Rick transitioned into golf club sales, PGA tour representation, and custom club building at Ray Cook Putters, working alongside the renowned Scotty Cameron until 1992. He then joined Rawlings, where he developed their golf club designs and the Ken Giannini putter line, presenting on the PGA, Senior, Australian, New Zealand, and LPGA tours while managing sales and distributors worldwide.
Rick later designed and manufactured putters for the Japan market under the Rick Hamilton Company and Putterman brands. He also helped companies like Tiger Shark, Carbite Golf, and F2 Golf establish PGA tour representation, resulting in tour player use and wins.

Throughout his career, Rick personally crafted and fitted putters for golf icons including Arnold Palmer, Fred Couples, Lee Trevino, Ray Floyd, and Seve Ballesteros. His custom putters have been used by multiple PGA Major Championship winners and have secured numerous victories on the PGA Tour.
